1. Pure silk fabric woven from mulberry silk yarn from pierced cocoons, hand-spun without removing the gum (sericin).
  2. 2. Fabric composed of reeled silk yarn warp and weft of yarn from cocoons that have burst by moths emerging (called ahimsa, non-violent) silk.
